Scare on the Square is a trick-or-treating event that takes place on Halloween each year in Downtown Gainesville. The Downtown businesses hand out candy to trick-or-treaters.
Other businesses are able to set up a booth and hand out candy and goodies at the Farmers Market. We will have music, food trucks, and fun! This is a free event open to the public.
The Annual Lighted Christmas Parade rolls through Downtown Gainesville on the first Thursday of December.
Local businesses, schools, churches, and civic organizations enter to win great prizes including the coveted "Mayor's Cup" awarded to the best overall entry!
